Ilan Hurtado Memorial Scholarship

We are proud to announce that the family of Ilan Hurtado has funded an annual scholarship in Ilan’s name of $5,000, to be granted to an elementary student of a single parent household.

Ilan attended the Montessori School of Lake Forest from the age of 4 until his death at 9. The MSLF community had been a big part of Ilan and his family’s life, and they are pleased to be able to support other children in having the same positive experience.

• Families wishing to apply for the Ilan Hurtado Memorial Scholarship should complete the application found using the link below.
• This scholarship award of $5,000 is made annually to an elementary student in a single parent household. Award may not be awarded to the same recipient in consecutive years.
• Applications are collected in the spring with a deadline of April 1 for fall school year enrollment.
